GED Next Step Scholarship |

| Eligibility requirements: | Applicants must have completed GED classes at MCC and scored 2500 or higher on the GED tests. Applicant must intend to complete an Associate Degree or certificate at MCC and attend Fall and Spring semesters until their program is complete, taking at least 6 credit hours each semester. |
| Number of awards available: | 4 |
| Support provided: | The scholarship provides full tuition, books, registration and course fees for the full degree or certificate program if the student completes the required advising, and maintains a 2.5 GPA and successfully completes two-thirds of the courses taken each semester. |
| Material to be submitted: | Applicants must complete and submit the MCC Scholarship Application, including a one-page essay that describes the applicant’s educational and career goals and how this scholarship would contribute to meeting them. Also, complete the short financial aid application, submit a letter of recommendation, and proof of GED score. |
